Field Sales Manager

The R A Siegel Company is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Field Sales Manager position, based in our Atlanta office. This individual will manage sales activities of the organization, while reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Directly supervise sales representatives in the Field Sales Organization.
  • Stay ahead of the competition in service, value and relationship building.
  • Increase market share by leading the sales force in the selling of our product offerings to retail flooring accounts.
  • Interface with internal customers to assure proper communication and service levels are maintained between sales and the organization.
  • Work with manufacturer representatives, sales representatives and management team to achieve sales goals.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or eight years sales experience with at least five years in sales management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Availability for overnight travel and flexible work schedule.
  • Previous sales management experience is a must, with flooring industry experience a plus.
  • Experience in Recruiting, Hiring, Training & Coaching Sales Reps.
  • Proven experience in successfully developing and growing key accounts.
  • Successful implementation of Sales Promotions.
  • Successful Territory Management to include time spent in territory by Sales Reps.
  • Previous experience in account development and budget responsibility.

Credit Account Manager

Mableton, GA

The R.A. Siegel Company is seeking a full-time Credit Account Manager for our Corporate Credit Department. Previous experience in credit processes preferred,with a focus on collections and account maintenance. Successful candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, have the ability to effectively multi-task and most importantly, be a team player.

The Credit Account Manager will represent the Company in a professional manner, with responsibility for collecting funds and maintaining assigned dealer accounts while working as a partner with the Sales department.

Essential Credit Account Manager Functions:

  • Manage accounts
  • Warm collection calls
  • Issue credits and journal entries
  • Answer billing inquiries
  • Approve and release orders on hold
  • Review orders for correctness
  • Call and secure payments
  • Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Document and work issues to completion
  • Back-up other Account Manager(s) in the department
  • Work closely with other departments, especially sales and shipping
  • Initiate and execute process improvements to increase productivity within the organization

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required. Related college degree is a plus.
  • Previous related work experience.
  • Basic computer skills, advanced skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Strong Excel a requirement.
  • Work hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday.
